CEI provided an on-site inspection to determine if to interior wall in a Wheat Ridge, Colorado, home was load-bearing. The inspection revealed that the wall was load-bearing and required an engineered beam design. The beam was designed to transfer the applied roof loads to the existing foundation below, which was checked to determine if it had adequate capacity to support the increased load in this location. The structural design drawings were completed on time to keep the home renovation project on schedule.
