Cronin Engineering and Inspection provided foundation repair drawings for a home and detached garage in Arvada, Colorado. The project was part of a home renovation following the sale of the home to a real estate investor and was required to bring the house up to code. The main home foundation consisted of a concrete foundation wall that could be supported directly with helical piers, while the garage foundation consisted of unreinforced CMU that required a steel angle to be installed to support the foundation. CEI worked directly with the home investor and foundation repair contractor to provide an initial inspection, structural design drawings, as well as a final inspection and compliance letter after the foundation repairs had been completed.
